Other: I first read this book in third grade, but I still love, so I recommend it to any age! The sequels are not nearly as good, and for older ages because of the romance, but this one is a very good story. Not very many mermaid books for teens out there, and I love them! Does anyone know of any others?

Other: I won't usually post about graphic novels, because they aren't the best for upping your reading level and all, but this one is really good, especially for those of you starting middle school or getting braces. It is also a true story, based off of Raina Telgemeier's real life.

Other: I cried twice while reading this book, and would have cried a third time, had I not been at school. It is romantic, and the romance it sad. Sometimes it is hard to understand, because it was written about one hundred years ago, but as long as you get the gist  of it you're good.

Other: This is another book based off Cinderella (see my post on The Little Princess), and is not childish at all, but is actually very romantic, because of Prince Char. It is definitely one of my favorites!

March Challenge

     Every month, I post a new challenge for you, as a fellow book lover.
     This month's challenge is to read a book from a genre you thought you despised. You may find that the genre you had stayed away from is actually intriguing, and the books pull you in like magnets. As for me, I tend to read fantasy and realistic fiction, so I would try something like science fiction.
     I may try reading science fiction, but I will continue to avoid horror. I would rather stay up late reading rather than cuddled under the sheets fearing the worst.
     Tell me in the comments what your worst favorite and favorite genres are, and I would love science fiction ideas! Also ideas for next month's challenge are needed! I am having trouble coming up with these!

February Challenge

     Reading all the books by an author is also very interesting, because it is fun to find the similarities in the books. Absolutely Normal Chaos and Walk Two Moons (which I have posted about) are both by Sharon Creech, and have some of the same characters. I have read every single book Sharon Creech has written, and they are all amazing!

Before you skip over this post, or leave this website completely, thinking "This is childish!" or "Why would I want to read about Rapunzel?", I want to tell you that this is actually a very good book, and very entertaining!
